Resthaven has 65 'beds' available for resthome and continuing care. Most are single rooms, with a couple of double rooms for those who like to share or for married couples. The majority of rooms have a courtyard or a view of the Cambridge greenbelt.
56 rooms at Resthaven can be used for either resthome or continuing care level, which means being able to stay in the same room if care requirements change.
There is an assortment of lounges, dining rooms and communal spaces throughout Resthaven for all residents and families to use.
We take care of all meals, laundry and cleaning. Our philosophy is to encourage and support residents to remain as independent as they can - if residents would like to do any cooking or baking, wash their own clothes or do their own cleaning, they will be supported by staff to do this.
Our Key Worker personalised approach
At the cornerstone of our care is a personalised approach aimed at providing the best support and care for our residents.
Each resident has their own "Key Worker" – a staff member who is the cornerstone of the service provided to that resident. The key worker gets to know the resident and their family well, and is responsible for coordinating care and services in a manner that is most beneficial for the resident.
Forming these relationships builds a great sense of community among our residents and their families, our staff and the doctors.
