Angel, a recent team member, talks about her experience
working at Cambridge Resthaven.

"I arrived in NZ from the Philippines in 2014. Resthaven was my very first employer. I started as a part-time HCA while doing my studies then later on worked as one of the Registered Nurses in the facility.

I worked with colleagues of different nationalities, backgrounds, talents, and skills. Resthaven embraces cultural diversity and celebrates the uniqueness of their employees. There is a sense of value, respect and support established among our peers. My mentors and colleagues became my friends and family.

As a working Mom my shifts were also flexible which enabled me to take my daughter to school and pick her up. I enjoyed a healthy work life balance with Resthaven.

Overall, my experience with Resthaven has been fulfilling. I’ve grown so much both professionally and personally. It’s one of the best facilities to work at because it genuinely cares for its employees."
